About Lakeville
Lakeville is a small town located on Highway 121. The closest larger city to this Central Sonoma County town is Petaluma.
Lakeville is also within a short driving distance of the San Pablo Bay, a shallow tidal estuary that forms the northern extension of San Francisco Bay. Because of its close proximity to a large body of water, Lakeville activities might include recreational fishing for sturgeon and bass, boating, and camping by the waters of the Bay. This area is also home to San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge, home to many endangered wildlife species including the California brown pelican, California clapper rail, and salt marsh harvest mouse.
The Petaluma River is also close to Lakeville, providing even more opportunities for fun on the water.
