About Jenner

Jenner is a tiny coastal town where the Russian River feeds into the Pacific Ocean. The air is remarkably fresh and the sound of waves breaking on the nearby Goat Rock beach is both soothing and exhilarating. Visitors come to this little coastal hamlet to escape it all. Aside from a few decidedly romantic restaurants, five lodges and a handful of shops, there isn’t a lot to Jenner. This is the beauty of the place. Visitors have to find entertainment in the area’s rugged and diverse landscape.

Hiking along Jenner’s coast, visitors will climb over dunes, feel the salty air blow back their hair while admiring the view from a coastal cliff and feel the warmth of the sand beneath their feet while picnicking on the beach. Goat Rock beach is a windswept, rugged beach that has its own unique beauty. Those who come to enjoy the Russian River’s confluence with the Pacific Ocean should hop on a kayak and paddle around the river and estuary. Here they are almost guaranteed to be joined by seals swimming alongside them.
